In the heart of ‘Pays d’art et d’histoire of Southern Vivarais’
As a national recognition of our exceptional heritage, the label Pays d’art et d’histoire (‘Land of art and history’) was awarded by the French Ministry of Culture and Communication in the summer 2011. It shows the will of our community to protect and promote our beautiful heritage.
You can download our new leaflet about the ’Vallon de Tourne’ for free, or find it in the Visitor Information Centre.

Bourg-Saint-Andéol: Gateway to Provence
"Everything seems imposing in the panorama of this river which connects us with the Provence" Georges Sand.
Bourg-Saint-Andéol overlooks the Rhone River, at the south end of Ardèche. Only a few miles away from the future replica of the Grotte Chauvet cave, from the sumptuous Gorges de l’Ardèche, from the Drôme castles and so much more!
Bourg-Saint-Andéol is open to Europe and is twinned with 3 European cities: Monschau, Germany; Albertirsa, Hungary and Gaggiano, Italy.
